Youth arrested for violating protocol in Ujjain
Ujjain : A youth was arrested for violating protocol in handing over a memorandum to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s wife Sadhna Singh. He had demanded to regularize sainiks appointed as Home Guards during Simhastha.

The incident evoked strong reaction from sainiks, who were contracted to handle the crowd during Simhastha and when it was over their contracts were nullified and they were out of jobs.
Sainiks have been asking the government to regularise their services as Home Guards and had submitted a memorandum, addressed to the chief minister. One Ravikant Sharma had handed over the memorandum to Sadhna Singh when she was visiting Ujjain and moving on a car on August 8.
The police had arrested Sharma under Section 151 for violating protocol. He was sent to jail by sub-divisional magistrate (Mahakal) Jayant Joshi and later released on bail on Wednesday.
